Selection must provide parameters

Fan: model, air volume, air pressure, speed, inlet and outlet diameter

Media: temperature, dust content, water vapor, corrosive gases

Installation position: Air inlet/outlet/middle section of pipeline/outdoor vent

Noise reduction target: workshop position or factory boundary noise limit

Restrictions: Allowable pressure loss (generally recommended ≤ 200Pa), installation space

Tip: The noise from the air outlet is usually louder; Air inlet silencers are commonly used for negative pressure intake noise reduction, while also protecting the fan and reducing the intake of debris.

Room temperature clean: Q235 carbon steel, galvanized steel sheet

Damp/Mild Corrosion: 304 Stainless Steel

Strong corrosion: 316L stainless steel, fiberglass reinforced plastic

High temperature: heat-resistant stainless steel+ceramic/aluminum silicate sound-absorbing material

Key points for installation and use

1. Install flexible shock-absorbing joints between the muffler and the fan to block solid sound transmission; The supporting bracket should be independently load-bearing, and the weight of the muffler should not be pressed on the fan flange.

2. The airflow direction cannot be reversed, and the internal flow guide and sound-absorbing film structure have directionality.

3. For dust working conditions, it is necessary to reserve maintenance ports and regularly clean up accumulated dust to prevent blockage of sound absorption structures, surge in resistance, and noise reduction attenuation.

4. It is recommended to equip the outdoor end muffler with a rain cap to prevent rainwater from entering the interior.
