2. Dust and debris prevention: Block dust, iron filings, sand and gravel from entering the interior of the coupling, reduce the wear of elastic pads and column pins, and extend the service life of the coupling and bearings.

1. Split type protective cover (most commonly used for fans) is assembled by interlocking the upper and lower halves, fixed with bolts, and does not require overall disassembly for maintenance, making disassembly and assembly convenient.

Semi enclosed: economical, suitable for indoor dry environments

Fully enclosed: Sealed protection, preferred for dust and outdoor conditions, with better dust and rain prevention effects

2. The integrated casing of the shield is difficult to disassemble and assemble, and is rarely used on fans.

3. Mesh format shield steel plate punching mesh material, lightweight, convenient for intuitive observation of the operation status of the coupling; Disadvantage: Weak dust resistance, suitable for clean workshops.

5、 Installation points

1. The protective cover should not come into frictional contact with rotating parts, and sufficient clearance should be reserved to prevent rubbing against the coupling and generating abnormal noise.

2. The protective cover must be firmly fixed on the base bracket and cannot be suspended.

3. The bolts at the inspection port and joint are complete, and it is strictly prohibited to remove the protective cover and start the machine during operation.

4. The explosion-proof working condition cover should avoid generating friction sparks, and the material selection should match the explosion-proof level.
